Now Is Your Chance To Sit In The Director’s Chair!

Do you have a great idea for a traffic safety Video or Billboard? Are you ready to showcase your ideas? Now is your chance! The North Dakota Department of Transportation is partnering with AAA North Dakota, North Dakota Safety Council, and Wal-Mart to hold the 2nd Annual NDTeenDrivers Traffic Safety Contest! This contest is your chance to show off your creativity and ideas to the entire state for a chance to win great prizes for your school and you!

30 second Video Campaign
  • 1st place: $1,000 cash total for group or individual and $1,000 Traffic Safety Grant for your school*
  • 2nd place: $750 cash total for group or individual
  • 3rd place: $500 cash total for group or individual

Billboard Design Campaign
  • 1st place: $750 cash total for group or individual and $1,000 Traffic Safety Grant for your school*
  • 2nd place: $500 cash total for group or individual
  • 3rd place: $250 cash total for group or individual

    Registration Forms will be available Monday, November 1, 2010 to participate in the NDTeenDrivers Traffic Safety Contest 2010.
    You can download a registration form here.

    Registration must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. CST on Friday, February 11, 2011.

    Important Requirements
    • Participants must be a student enrolled at a North Dakota school age 14 to 19. You must be 14 years old by Friday, February 11, 2011 to participate in the contest.
    • Once you and/or everyone in your group have turned in your registration form, you may begin creating your traffic safety video or billboard.
    • All participants must have registered by 5:00 p.m. CST on February 11, 2011 to particpate in the contest
    • All participants in a group must attend the same school

All Video and Billboard entries must be postmarked and received by the North Dakota Dept. of Transportation by 5:00 p.m. CST. Typed report and photos of traffic safety event conducted at school must also be submitted.
